SANTA BARBARA, CA. September 22, 2007 — Santa Barbara City College selects Jacques Habra, award-winning entrepreneur, to participate in Web business symposium.

According to the Santa Barbara City College Web site, the symposium description is:

‘WEB-BASED BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT’ is the topic of an all-day business symposium hosted by SBCC Saturday, September 22, from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM in the Fe Bland Forum. The symposium will focus on different e-commerce business models and web-based strategies for innovating new business and maximizing existing business operations. The symposium is sponsored by SBCC’s Business Department, and Adult Education in cooperation with SBCC’s new Program for Entrepreneurship and Business Innovation.

Habra states, "I really enjoyed participating.  Right now, most of my time is spent on search engine optimization and on-line marketing, and that's what I spoke about, but it was equally engaging to discuss business strategy, and broader Web trends taking place."
